We are excited to have you, and your children join our parish Faith Formation Family!
Sacramental Preparation brings children and families from our Parish and Academy together to prepare for the Sacraments of

Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

 

Children's Sacramental Preparation Program (Grades 2 - 5)​
 

The program offers an interactive experience where children and their parents walk together to learn about the "healing power" of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the "True Presence" of Jesus in the Eucharist - Sacrament of Holy Communion. Classes are monthly, beginning in October and finish in May.

If your child is 8 yrs old and has not been baptized, please contact Christine Davis at chris@smtlm.org to inquire about the OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children) program. Your child's journey will begin through OCIC. Do not register for Sacramental Prep. When your child is preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, you will register for both Faith Formation and Sacramental Prep Programs. If your child attends Catholic School, you will only register for the Sacramental Prep Program.

How the Children's Sacramental Preparation Program Works

 

• Children and a parent(s) attend class together.

• There are 6 monthly hour and a half classes - any missed class must be made up

• Classes are offered on Sundays 10:15 AM or Thursdays 3:30 PM

• A copy of your child's Baptismal Certificate is brought to the first class.
