Set a date

Begin filling out pre-marriage questionnaire

Get applications for wedding preparation programs

Set date and time of rehearsal

 

Meet with Parish Administrator, Dora Casteñeda 619.465.5334

Get applications for wedding preparation programs

To reserve church

Make deposit

Sign contract reserving the church

Ask any question you might have

 

Set the second appointment after Pre-Cana Seminar and receiving results of FOCUS Inventory

To go over the results of the FOCUS Inventory

 

Set the third appointment after attending second marriage preparation program (Engaged Encounter or Evenings for the Engaged)

To discuss second marriage preparation program

Pick up materials to plan wedding liturgy

Set date for final appointment with the Priest

Get approval as who is providing music at the ceremony

 

Within six months of wedding date, we will need the following documents and information

New Baptismal Certificates from the Church of Baptism for Catholic Partners

Date and name of the church/es of Confirmation (no certificate needed)

Date and name of church of Baptism, if applicable, for non-Catholic partner (no certificate needed)

 

Final appointment

Finalize paperwork, make sure all necessary documents are in our file (Baptismal Certificates and marriage license)

Outline the Wedding Liturgy (wedding party, procession, choice of readings, prayers, blessings and etc.)

Call Wedding Coordinator, Christine Davis

Confirm to her that musicians, florists, photographers, etc. have received and are aware of guidelines on what can or cannot be done

One month before wedding, contact Parish Administrator, Dora Casteñeda

Pay balance of fees for the use of the church
